Through operational actions carried out in the Alto Boquete district, Chiriquí province, a citizen was apprehended on an arrest warrant for a crime against freedom and sexual integrity, specifically rape.
The 61-year-old individual was wanted by the Public Ministry's Section of Crimes against Freedom and Sexual Integrity, for harm caused to an eight-year-old minor.
The apprehended individual was handed over to the competent authorities for the corresponding procedures, reaffirming the institutional commitment to the protection of childhood and compliance with the law.
