La Pita Community in Capira Unites for Rural Projects

The community of La Pita, in the district of Villa Rosario, Capira, will be positively impacted through various community actions as part of a management plan aimed at improving the residents' quality of life, assured Honorable Daniel Gutiérrez, the district's representative.

Among the main works carried out are improvements to rural roads, the remodeling of the playground located near the Community House, and the provision of potable water.

Currently, La Pita operates with six water wells, which, while they have allowed supplying the population, are insufficient in the face of drought and the increase in inhabitants, a situation that particularly affects the Villa Matías sector, Gutiérrez assured.

Faced with this reality, and following a formal request presented by the residents of Villa Matías in October 2024, the Villa Rosario Community Board decided to execute a new potable water project using funds from the Real Estate Tax (IBI), mentioned Honorable Daniel Gutiérrez.

The project contemplates the drilling of a well, the construction of a pump house, the installation of a pump, and a storage tank at a total investment cost of 25 thousand dollars.

Gutiérrez added that the residents participated in citizen consultations and have ceded the necessary land for the project's execution.

The system's administration will be in charge of the community board, remembering that it is a self-managed and self-sufficient rural aqueduct.
