Panama - Two men who stole the boat 'El Viejo', which was for sale in Chitré (Herrera), were apprehended in flagrante delicto by units of the National Police. Captain Ronald Barbade detailed that in the early hours of this morning, they received a complaint about the crime, for which they set up checkpoints in different sectors of the district. This allowed them to locate the criminals towing the vessel with a pickup truck on the internal ring road of the La Arena district, near a hotel. After the arrest, the suspects and the boat, valued at approximately 40 thousand dollars, were taken to the Chitré police substation, to subsequently be placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry for the judicial processing of the case.

Panamanian police have apprehended two men for stealing a boat for sale in Chitré. The criminals were caught in the act while towing the vessel. The boat, worth about $40,000, has been recovered.
