By operating uninterruptedly, Hospital Cecilio Castillero ensures timely access to medical treatments regardless of the moment the emergency arises, eliminating waits due to shift closures. The regional director of Health of Herrera, Hilario Correa, stated that the implementation of this extended schedule is part of the continuous efforts to strengthen comprehensive care in public health services. According to the official, the objective is to provide an efficient and humane response, ensuring that pharmacological treatment is available immediately after the medical consultation. Supply and availability of medications Correa also highlighted that Hospital Cecilio Castillero currently has a significant level of supply in its medication inventory. With this measure, the Health Region of Herrera reaffirms its commitment to the well-being of the population, ensuring that the hospital infrastructure adapts to the real needs of patients. As of this January, the medication dispensing office will provide service 24 hours a day, seven days a week, marking a significant advance in health coverage for the entire Herreran population.
