Furthermore, this case became the first homicide recorded this year in the Herrera province. Meanwhile, a large number of people, mainly compatriots of the murdered merchant, traveled to a cemetery in West Panama province on Saturday for his burial. Among these elements is the vehicle that was abandoned in the city of Chitré, which, according to investigations, had been rented by the Venezuelan citizen. The bloody incident occurred in broad daylight, in the morning, in a shopping mall in Chitré, outside a store where the merchant was conducting some transactions, and in front of several people, which caused great commotion among residents and merchants in the region.
