The Social Security Fund (CSS) informed the population of Colón on Thursday that the coordination for the moving process of the departments and health services from the current Dr. Manuel Amador Guerrero hospital in the city of Colón to the new and modern hospital complex, located behind the Policlínica Hugo Spadafora in the corregimiento of Cristóbal Este, has been significantly accelerated. Therefore, on Monday, December 1st, a patient transfer simulation will take place. This follows a coordination meeting with the CSS's provincial authorities, security forces, ATTT, SUME 911, and the Colón Free Zone. The simulation will begin at 10:00 a.m., departing from the hospital, going down Calle 11 Avenida Meléndez to Calle 15, and then exiting to Avenida Amed Waked. In the transit area, a lane reversal will be implemented to reach the new hospital. For this reason, the CSS has offered advance apologies to the population for the inconvenience caused during this process, which in the coming days will benefit more than 280,000 Colonenses. The administration will provide timely information on the entire moving process to the new hospital.
