Man from Colón Sentenced to 7 Years for Firearm

A 43-year-old man, Harold Bailey, has been sentenced to 7 years in prison for illegal possession of a firearm. The sentence was handed down by the Accusatory Penal System (SPA) of the Colón province. The incident occurred on January 7 of this year when National Police agents caught him in possession of a firearm, a magazine, and 17 cartridges in the San Isidro community, in the Cativá district. In addition to the main penalty, the court also imposed an accessory penalty of a prohibition on carrying firearms for the same period.
