National government officials conducted a supervisory tour of the main sports infrastructures in the province of Colón. The inspection of the sports facilities was to check on the progress of the Roberto Mariano Bula Stadium, the Armando Dely Valdés Stadium, and the Ismael Laguna Gym. The delegation was headed by Miguel Ordolez, director of Pandeportes, and José Ramón Icaza, Minister of Canal Affairs and the Goals Secretariat, accompanied by local officials who verified the technical inspection, ensuring that the work is carried out according to modern standards that will guarantee top-level sports facilities. During the visit, players from the Colón Roadrunners team had the opportunity to see the progress and expressed their enthusiasm at seeing how, after more than a decade, Colón is once again on its way to having suitable venues for the development of local talent. Pandeportes confirmed that the Roberto Mariano Bula Stadium will be the venue for the opening of the 2026 Senior National Baseball Championship.
