Through a press release, the company apologized for the delays, explaining that the bad weather affected its operations. “To the extent that weather conditions permit, we will continue to advance,” the company stated. The team of the waste collection company Aguaseo, in the district of Colón, has begun a strategic recovery plan for critical points where mountains of waste were accumulating along the Transístmica highway. Waste collection has been hit by the heavy rains that have fallen in the province in recent days, complicating truck traffic and delaying routes. The work began in the community of Villa Liriola, in the district of Cativá, and will continue throughout the Transístmica.
