The Ministry of Health (Minsa) reported that the preventive, corrective, and operational maintenance, as well as specialized and non-specialized cleaning of the Manuel Amador Guerrero Hospital in Colón, is guaranteed thanks to a current contract that will cover the next four years, from September 27, 2025, to September 27, 2030. Currently, the hospital has a company, selected following current regulations, that performs all maintenance and cleaning tasks, according to Minsa. The services cover the entire hospital infrastructure, including critical areas such as operating rooms, intensive care units, hospitalization, outpatient clinics, air conditioning, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as the general civil infrastructure.
