Officials from the National Institute of Aqueducts and Sewers (Idaan) are managing their 2025 bonus before the national authorities. At the end of last year, employees of this entity paralyzed their activities demanding the payment of the bonus, a conquest achieved by these public servants. José González, leader of the Idaan workers in Colón, reported that during a meeting it was explained to them that the bonus was not in the Official Gazette, so they withdrew and returned to their duties. He indicated that since the bonus was not in the Official Gazette, the legal process would have to be carried out, which includes a series of procedures. He added that currently all processes are being carried out, and it is understood that it has already been approved in the Official Gazette. They are also in conversation with the Ministry of Economy and Finance, in addition to the Comptroller's Office, to obtain a response. In the event of not obtaining a satisfactory response, the necessary administrative resources will continue to be filed, González pointed out.
