A collision between two motorcycles in the early hours of Friday on the Arraiján-La Chorrera highway left two people dead. The traffic accident occurred in front of the Westland Mally shopping center and caused a severe traffic jam heading towards the capital city. According to initial reports, the rider of one of the motorcycles died at the scene, while the passenger of the second motorcycle died hours later at the Nicolás Solano Hospital in La Chorrera. Staff from the Public Ministry (MP) carried out the recovery of the victims' bodies, while the National Police, through the National Directorate of Traffic Operations, initiated the corresponding investigations.
