The National Police and the Public Ministry carried out Operation Roblox in Puerto Caimito, La Chorrera, with the aim of finding individuals related to crimes against Freedom and Sexual Integrity, as well as evidence of activities related to Child Pornography.
According to investigations conducted by national and international authorities, a 52-year-old man of Panamanian nationality was establishing contact with minors through the video game Roblox, gaining their trust and exchanging phone numbers to later threaten them and request child sexual abuse material.
The alert about this individual came from the Police of Spain, which is investigating a criminal network of Child Pornography. Following the identification of the subject, his arrest was carried out. During the search of his residence, numerous information storage devices, cell phones, and laptops were found.
In summary, the capture of an alleged criminal related to child pornography was achieved, thanks to international collaboration and the joint work of Panamanian and Spanish authorities.
