The National Police, in conjunction with the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, carried out Operation 'Odometer' in the districts of La Chorrera and Arraiján, in order to locate and apprehend individuals linked to investigations for crimes against economic property, specifically in the form of aggravated theft.
During the raids and searches, three people were apprehended, including two public officials from the Ministry of Public Works and one private citizen.
According to the ongoing investigations by the authorities, these individuals are linked to the aggravated theft of fuel intended for state use for profit.
In this operation, technological evidence was collected, which, along with the apprehended individuals, was placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry.
