To date, it is unknown where the one and a half million dollars that a pastor and a lawyer are alleged to have defrauded from the Llano Largo church in La Chorrera are located, lawyer Daira Tazón specified in Nex Noticias. "If the million doesn't exist, they (the accused) will have to tell the truth, they are the only ones who know why, up to this point, with the investigations that have been carried out, no one knows where the money is," she expressed. She added that those being accused are the one who signed the 'promissory note' and the one who supposedly gave the million and a half for the seizure and sale of the church's properties. "The money to this day is not known to be anywhere and that the metropolitan prosecutors investigated all the accounts of the church, of the company (involved) and no one knows where the million is," the lawyer assured. It became known that the company was also charged in this case. "Perhaps because the money was never delivered," insisted the lawyer who, however, made something clear: "yes, the assets and properties of the church were seized and sold." "Maybe for now a yellow process is being investigated, I don't know." "During the hearing we realized that we are prepared and that the prosecutor has sufficient evidence for that accusation to be confirmed," the lawyer highlighted. According to the Public Ministry, the pastor of the church, without authorization from the General Assembly of the church, signed a fraudulent promissory note with the lawyer, legal representative of a company, a document that guaranteed a simulated loan in favor of this; an obligation that was deliberately breached, whereby they took possession of goods, land and assets of the congregation, causing an economic damage of B/.1,500,000.
