The municipality has a direct responsibility for the organization of the carnival, not only in terms of commercial permits, but also in the strict compliance with the mayoral decree, especially regarding the schedules for firework displays, the performance time of the 'tunas' (musical groups), and other current provisions. According to the district mayor, Noé Herrera, these permits will be processed from the current date until next February 12, with the projection of authorizing more than 100 stalls along the entire carnival route. The mayor explained that the permits cover various strategic points in the city, including Porras Park and nearby areas, with the aim of guaranteeing adequate order, safety, and better conditions for both vendors and the public attending the events. However, he indicated that the municipal office maintains an open attitude towards dialogue, as long as it is held within the framework of respect and the established regulations. 'We know the sacrifice and effort that the 'tunas' and the community make to offer a free, high-level show, so now, during the carnival, it is essential that the mayoral decree be respected,' expressed the mayor. Within the framework of this organization, the Municipality of Las Tablas has initiated the process of granting permits for the informal sales stalls that will operate during the carnival days. In this sense, he pointed out that a maximum time for the fireworks has been established, which must be respected, considering the community that participates and enjoys the show. The city of Las Tablas is advancing in its preparations to once again become the epicenter of the country's carnival, one of the most anticipated festivities for nationals and visitors, which each year dynamizes the local and national economy.
