In the context of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, MAPFRE reaffirms its commitment to labor inclusion as a fundamental axis of its global sustainability and diversity strategy.
This achievement reflects a 5.7% year-on-year growth in the hiring of this talent.
At the Panama level, MAPFRE, which serves more than 243,000 customers through nine offices and a network of over 800 brokers, has a team of 369 collaborators.
Currently, more than 1,152 people with disabilities work in the company, distributed in 27 countries and representing 4.2% of its global workforce.
The most recent analysis showed a score of 8.4 out of 10 on quality of life among employees with disabilities with less than three years in the company.
In addition to these measurements, the company implements various actions to strengthen its inclusive culture:
• Vocational guidance programs for people with disabilities. • Corporate volunteer activities; in 2024, 281 actions were carried out in favor of inclusion. • The "Looks Without Labels" awareness program and training on unconscious biases, which have involved thousands of employees worldwide to promote a culture of respect and equity.
