The second edition of Expo Horeca Panama concluded its activities at the Megapolis Convention Center, solidifying itself as the fundamental meeting point for the hotel, restaurant, and café industry. This space allowed decision-makers to access new supply alternatives and learn about current market trends. Twelve conferences were held under the 'Tourism 360' and 'HORECA Skills' segments, complemented by 20 workshops and 4 masterclasses. Institutional backing was significant, counting on the support of 15 sector associations and chambers that acted as strategic allies to foster analysis and the creation of high-value business relationships. The academic agenda of Expo Horeca Panama was structured around competitiveness and profitability. These technical training spaces offered practical tools in critical areas such as digitalization, purchasing management, and operational optimization, enabling attendees to strengthen their management capabilities in the face of market reality. This regional expansion aims for suppliers and professionals to identify new business opportunities and expand their network of contacts in different Central American markets. Ligia Illescas, founder and director of the event, stated that the project is moving towards a LATAM model with the goal of turning Panama into the main headquarters of this platform at the Latin American level. The event attracted an audience of 2,700 qualified professionals, including managers, directors, and owners of establishments in both urban and rural areas of the country, as well as international participants interested in sectoral innovation. The business platform featured an expanded innovation zone with the participation of 114 national and international exhibiting companies. Illescas highlighted that the purpose is to bring industry players together in a single regional space to boost joint growth. Following the results obtained in Panama, the Brontë Connection agency's tour will continue its route in Guatemala on April 16 and 17, then move to Honduras on May 28 and 29.
