The Ministry of Culture of Panama has shared its new cultural agenda for the period from March 7 to 14, 2026. This programming includes a wide range of events, from art exhibitions and educational workshops to outdoor festivals, designed to strengthen access to culture throughout the country.
Notable weekend activities The schedule begins on March 7 with the "Tropical Sweetness" exhibition at the Juan Manuel Cedeño Gallery and workshops such as "Tales under the mango tree" at the Pablo Sotillo Public Library in Capira. Additionally, mass events will take place, such as the Geek VI Festival and the launch of the National Spelling Bee at Los Andes Mall, both with free admission. In the performing arts, performances of "Snow White" at the Metropolitan Theater and "Willy Wonka" at the ABA Theater continue.
For March 8, various activities have been planned to commemorate International Women's Day, highlighting the "Women that Shine" exhibition on the Coastal Strip III and the "Woman, Art and Talent" event at the Manuel F. Zárate Museum in the province of Los Santos.
Training and open calls Within the cultural agenda, the start of classes for the Writers' Training Program (PROFE) on March 7 stands out, which maintains its open call. Similarly, calls for the National Literature Encounter (until March 27) and the Artisan Path for the Azuero Fair (until March 13) are active.
