Students from the Interamerican University of Panama (UIP) conducted a technical visit to the State Radio and Television System (SERTV) to strengthen their academic training by learning about media operations. Professor Miguel Olivarren explained that this approach is vital for training professionals who master the advertising production cycle. The learning experience extended to television and radio areas, including the main studio, sub-control, the SERTV Sports department, and radio booths. Students also participated in live programs on Crisol FM and Nacional FM radio stations. For the first time, the tour included a visit to the SERTV Image department, where students had the opportunity to interact with the institution's team of graphic designers and animators. This initiative highlights SERTV's role as a learning environment for the new generations of communicators and designers in the country. By providing access to its technical and human infrastructure, the institution helps future professionals understand the dynamics of state media and the importance of the convergence between graphic design and marketing in today's industry.
