His mother, Cándida Soto, stated that she last had contact with her son on Saturday morning around 7:30 a.m. when he left home to perform community service at his school. Later, at about 10:32 a.m., he called her and said he was going with classmates to Terrazas de Sabanitas. Since then, there has been no news of him. The mother said she has provided all the information she has gathered to the Public Ministry. She expressed deep sadness and appealed to anyone with information about her son's whereabouts to come forward. Meanwhile, the Public Ministry and the National Police continue their search operations.
