A new arrest took place this Saturday at the December 24 station of the Panama Metro, where National Police agents detained a man allegedly linked to the 'Eros' operation. This subject is part of a criminal network dedicated to international drug trafficking and conspiracy to commit drug-related crimes. The arrest is part of the actions carried out in the operation, which has dismantled a large-scale organization in Panama. The First Specialized Prosecutor's Office for Drug-Related Crimes leads the investigation, and 59 people have already been prosecuted in this case. This arrest adds to those made last Wednesday, November 12, in the provinces of Panama, West Panama, and Veraguas, as part of the 'Eros' and 'Hummingbird' operations. Authorities continue to advance in the dismantling of the network.
