Panama Interpol units, in coordination with the prosecutor's office, arrested a Jamaican citizen wanted by the US on a warrant for money laundering.


Jamaican Citizen Apprehended for Money Laundering

During a raid and search operation in the Juan Díaz district, units of the Panama Interpol apprehended a citizen of Jamaican nationality, who was wanted on an arrest warrant requested by the United States. This operation was carried out in coordination with the Sixth Subregional Prosecutor's Office of Don Bosco and with the support of the Crowd Control Unit. The man is wanted on suspicion of money laundering crimes. Interpol transferred the subject to the headquarters of the Judicial Investigation Directorate to carry out the corresponding procedures and to be placed at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
