A swift police operation resulted in the arrest of a man and the seizure of 61 rectangular packages of suspected illicit substance inside a vehicle in the Betania sector, on the Transístmica highway, the National Police reported this Saturday. The man was placed at the disposal of the competent authorities for the corresponding procedures. According to authorities, the incident occurred after the vehicle attempted to evade a checkpoint located on the Transístmica highway, near the Bolívar Building.
