Panama - A 28-year-old young man, Alexis Castro, was shot in the left leg in the Villalobos area, Pedregal district. The whole incident happened in a matter of seconds. Suddenly, an unknown subject appeared who, after threatening Castro with a firearm to hand over his valuables, shot him when he did not get an immediate response. Taking advantage of the fact that the victim was injured, the robber stripped him of his mobile phone, a horn he was carrying, and his wallet with personal documents. After the criminal fled with the stolen items, Castro asked for help and was taken in a police patrol to the emergency room of the Irma De Lourdes Tzanetatos Hospital, where he received medical attention. The National Police initiated an investigation to locate the assailant involved in this aggravated robbery.
