Don Bosco Jr. and Bambanes FC of Chiriquí will face off this Sunday, December 21st, in a playoff match for promotion to the Liga Prom. The match between Don Bosco Jr., champions of the Apertura tournament, and Bambanes FC, monarchs of the Clausura tournament, will be held at the Virgilio Tejeira Stadium in Penonomé, at 3 PM. The Don Bosco team reached this stage by defeating Deportivo Altamira 1-0 in the West Conference, in a match played at the Aristocles 'Toco' Castillo Stadium. The Monagrillo team, having not repeated as champions, must play the additional match against the Clausura tournament champion. Meanwhile, the Chiriquí-based Bambanes team recently became West Conference champions by defeating Sporting Paris 1-0 at the Aristocles 'Toco' Castillo Stadium with a goal by Rigoberto Aparicio.
