Three minors under provisional care after alleged femicide in San Carlos

The Ministry of Women has reported that following the alleged femicide that occurred in the San Carlos district, three minor children of the victim have been placed under the provisional care of the deceased's mother. The woman's body was found yesterday in a public area on Calle Cuatro de Noviembre, in the San Carlos district, province of West Panama. Through the Comprehensive Care Center of La Chorrera, the institution has activated an interdisciplinary team to offer psychological, social, and legal support to the family, with the aim of guaranteeing the protection and well-being of the minors affected by this tragedy. Likewise, the Ministry of Women maintains coordination with the relevant entities to follow up on the case and ensure that adequate attention is provided in all legal and social aspects. Additionally, the necessary procedures are being managed to facilitate the minors' access to the services and support they require for their comprehensive development.
