Meanwhile, all eyes are on Cuba, which arrives at the event as one of the most successful nations in its history, having reached the final in the 2006 edition and the semifinal in 2023. Cuba has also advanced past the group stage in all five previous Classics, while this is Panama's third appearance, having previously participated in 2006 and 2023.
