Next Thursday, the mayor of Panama, José Luis Fábrega, will hold a meeting with representatives from Amazon at the company's headquarters. During this meeting, the mayor intends to invite Amazon to consider the possibility of establishing a headquarters in Panama.

At this meeting, the mayor is expected to present the benefits and opportunities that Panama offers as a destination for the expansion of international companies. Fábrega plans to highlight the strategic location of the country, its sustained economic growth, legal stability, and developed infrastructure.

"Panama is consolidating itself as a business and logistics center in the region, providing a conducive environment for foreign investment. We are ready to welcome companies like Amazon and offer them all the necessary facilities to establish and grow in our country," said Mayor Fábrega.

The proposal to establish a headquarters in Panama could represent an opportunity for both the American company and the Central American country, generating employment, boosting business development, and strengthening the local economy.
