Panama Oeste Ships Fruit to Latvia

The province of Panama Oeste is enhancing its agro-export capacity by shipping fresh fruits to Latvia, thus opening a new European market for local production. According to the Ministry of Agricultural Development (MIDA), the province sent 4 containers carrying 6,720 boxes of pineapple. The total export amounted to 80,640 kg of pineapple. Additionally, a parallel air export was conducted, which included 80 boxes of papaya (880 kg), 240 of passion fruit (550 kg), and 80 of pineapple.
