Mitradel and Private Sector Generate 237 Positions with Targeted Recruitment

The Ministry of Labor and Labor Development (Mitradel) of Panama has generated 237 new job positions in one week through the execution of six targeted and inclusive recruitment drives. The objective is to cover the need for human talent and qualified labor that the private sector requires for its economic reactivation. During the recruitment events, preliminary interviews were conducted with candidates, who, after being selected, will access a training process managed directly by the companies. Additionally, the personal data of attendees was digitized to create a centralized database for effective labor mediation. Among the vacancies offered were roles such as receptionist, floor assistant, general helper, customer service, cashiers, inventory control, security guards, grocery store workers, food handlers, and dockworkers. This initiative is part of the National Government's strategy to strengthen the labor market and provide genuine employment opportunities for the Panamanian population.
