The National Government will pay this Thursday, December 4, the final installment of the Thirteenth Month, announced this Tuesday by the Comptroller General of the Republic. Law 52 of May 16, 1974, established the Thirteenth Month for public servants. Payments are made on April 15, August 15, and December 15, with the latter being the most anticipated by Panamanians for year-end shopping. The disbursement will be for an approximate amount of 157,466,590 dollars and 55 cents, which will cover all public servants belonging to the Central Government, decentralized entities, public companies, financial intermediaries, boards of trustees, and municipalities. According to the Comptroller's Office, this payment will provide an important boost to the family economy of state collaborators in the final stretch of 2025.
