This Wednesday, Christmas fairs organized by the Agricultural Marketing Institute (IMA) continue in the provinces of Chiriquí, Los Santos, and Herrera, with Panama East being added as a new stop on the route to expand the population's access to basic products at affordable prices during the Christmas season.
Below are the times and locations where the Christmas gift boxes will be sold this Wednesday:
Chiriquí
• Lot across from the Flower Fair, Boquete • Dolega Plaza, in the district of Dolega • Gualaca Park (main square)
Los Santos • Next to the church (street across from the National Bank), in Macaracas • Central Park, Pedasí • Santo Tomás de Villanueva Park, in Pocrí • Tonosí Municipal Court
Herrera • Parita Bullring • Cabuya Community Court (Parita) • Municipal Court of Santa María (main town) • El Rincón Municipal Baseball Stadium (Santa María) • Los Canelos Community Center (Santa María) • Community Center of El Limón de Santa María
Panama East • Unión Santeña Community Center, Chepo District • Tortí Fairgrounds, Chepo District
IMA reminded citizens that to make their purchases, they must present their ID card and bring a reusable bag.
Additionally, the institution announced that the Christmas box will cost $15 and will be distributed at 132 locations nationwide from December 2 to 19, 2025.
The box will include five products: a picnic ham, a 5-pound bag of rice, a bottle of oil or a can of pineapple, a pound of sugar, and a can of pigeon peas.
