Both UDELAS projects were duly approved by the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) and subsequently ratified by the Comptroller General of the Republic, which represents the institutional strengthening for this house of higher education and for the country's public higher education. The Rector also announced that the university has also begun the first phase of the construction of a university Extension in the province of Colón to have headquarters in five provinces. Regarding the Coclé Extension, the supply of materials, labor, equipment, and special systems for the construction of the second phase of the laboratory pavilion (chemistry, physics, biology, technology, languages), among others at the UDELAS University Extension will be carried out. In Los Santos, the construction of two classroom pavilions that will benefit more than 650 students from Herrera and Los Santos will be carried out. "We feel very satisfied, we are on the right path; when we are on the right path, things go well; the delivery of this order to proceed is an important step towards growth, but above all, to the development of our Extension, and with it the university consolidates and strengthens its presence throughout the national territory," she added.
