Marriott International Expands in the Caribbean and Latin America

In 2026, Marriott International will launch several new resorts and hotels across the Caribbean and Latin America, including projects in Mexico, Costa Rica, Barbados, and Curaçao, offering unique experiences and luxury service.

2026 is set to be an exceptional year for travelers seeking new experiences and moments of connection in the Caribbean and Latin America. Marriott International, in line with its recent study on the priorities and passions of the Latin American traveler, has announced a series of openings that will redefine hospitality and offer access to some of the region's most vibrant destinations.

Marriott International is strengthening its regional presence with new luxury resorts and all-inclusive concepts that align with the growing demand for connection and transformation-focused travel.

In Barbados, Turtle Beach, Barbados, A Tribute Portfolio All-Inclusive Resort on the south coast and Crystal Cove, A Tribute Portfolio All-inclusive Resort on the west coast will open.

In Mexico, the launch of The Westin Playa Vallarta, an All-Inclusive Resort in Marina Vallarta, will focus on wellness with 281 suites and a renovated Westin Heavenly Spa. The opening of The St. Regis Costa Mujeres Resort in Cancún is also one of the most anticipated projects. Situated on the Mexican Caribbean, it will redefine modern luxury with 24/7 butler service, high-end gastronomy, and a unique combination of exclusivity and elegance.

In Curaçao, The Pyrmont Curacao, an Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort, will debut in the third quarter, featuring 300 rooms, eight restaurants, and a commitment to sustainability.

In Costa Rica, JW Marriott All-Inclusive Costa Elena will join the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio as a representative of the new generation of luxury all-inclusive resorts.

The Tribute Portfolio brand will also debut in Peru with the opening of Humano, Lima, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel. Located in the Miraflores district, this boutique hotel invites guests to experience Lima "like a local".

Mexico and Costa Rica are solidifying their positions as leaders in immersive and sustainable luxury. Casa Nizuc, A Tribute Portfolio Resort & Spa, positioned on the Mexican Caribbean, is an ideal haven for those who prioritize design and wellness.
