Azuero Fair Preparations Advance for 2026 Event

Preparations for the Azuero International Fair are advancing with a focus on 2026, when this event will once again become a meeting point for merchants, entrepreneurs, families, and visitors from across the country. The fair's board of directors reported that there are still spaces available for leasing stalls, intended for services, businesses, crafts, entertainment areas, and other sectors, so the invitation remains open for those who wish to be part of this new edition. It was also reminded that previous tenants have until December 31 to formally notify if they wish to keep the same stand. If they fail to do so within the established deadline, these spaces will go to new interested parties, whether individuals or companies. The president of the board, Nazario Pérez, announced that one of the most important investments will be the digitization of access and ticketing at all fair entrances, a key step to modernize one of the region's most emblematic events. Additionally, the renovation of the main festive and exhibition areas is planned, aiming to offer better conditions for both exhibitors and visitors. Meanwhile, Edward Gutiérrez, the board's finance chief, stated that the economic outlook is very favorable, highlighting that the fair generates a million-dollar impact on the economy of the central provinces, boosting sectors such as commerce, tourism, hospitality, and services. With these advances, the board reaffirms its commitment to strengthening and modernizing the Azuero International Fair, maintaining it as a key economic, cultural, and tourist engine for the region and for Panama.
