According to the latest report by the job portal Konzerta, the average salary expected by applicants in Panama reached USD $1,069 in November. In the Semi Senior and Senior category, the average was USD $1,112, reflecting a monthly increase of 0.49% and a year-on-year variation of 2.92%. Jeff Alejandro Morales, Konzerta's marketing manager, noted that these figures reflect a recovery in workers' expectations, especially at middle and senior management levels, where the highest market aspirations are recorded. The 'Supervisor/Manager' segment led salary increases in November with a rise of 4.53%, placing its average requirement at USD $1,407. The salary required by men was USD $1,069, while women requested an average of USD $1,015, resulting in a gender pay gap of 5.32%. In contrast, the Junior level remained stable with an expectation of USD $790, accumulating an annual growth of 4.54%. Regarding specific areas, positions linked to Information Technology lead the demands at management levels with USD $2,800, while Technology and Systems dominates the Senior segment with USD $2,000. The Sales area continues to consolidate as the engine of the labor market's supply and demand, concentrating 16.41% of posted job ads and 17.72% of applications.
