Panama's Minister of Commerce and Industry, Julio Moltó, highlighted that there is a strong appetite for investment in Panama. He stated that 2026 will be a successful year for the country in terms of investment and infrastructure projects, which will translate into job opportunities. The minister emphasized that 'the country is orderly, and I believe the table is set for all the infrastructure works planned by the central government.' He added that 'this is a country with transparency and peace; this situation generates good returns, and in this, the president of the republic and his government team in terms of security have worked intensely.' 'This is a safe country for investment, and it is being promoted correctly on the international level,' Moltó specified. He also noted that 'all those orders to proceed that begin now in the summer will generate a lot of employment.' The head of the Commerce Ministry further clarified that 'a lot of work has been done on the country's international projection.' Moltó stressed that Panama has an excellent environment; there is tranquility, and that is necessary for the arrival of investors.
