Copa Airlines achieved a 99.8% flight completion rate, positioning itself as the airline with the lowest cancellation levels on the continent and among the most reliable in the world. During 2025, the airline operated a network of over 85 destinations in 32 countries across the American continent. In parallel, Tocumen International Airport ranked first in the world for punctuality among medium-sized airports, according to the Medium Airports Report – Winners. During the period analyzed, Tocumen operated 96 routes and had the participation of 19 airlines. The joint performance of the country's main airline and its main airport comes in a context of high regional connectivity. This result also placed it as the most on-time airline in America and the second in the world, according to the On-Time Performance 2025 report. Cirium's rankings are based on data obtained from more than 2,000 international real-time flight data sources, including airlines, airports, global distribution systems, and civil aviation authorities, and are used as a benchmark to measure the operational reliability of the aviation sector worldwide. Cirium is an international firm specializing in the analysis and management of data in the aviation industry. Both Copa Airlines and Tocumen International Airport topped international rankings that measure the operational performance of airlines and airports, respectively. Copa Airlines was once again recognized by Cirium as the most on-time airline in Latin America in 2025, with an on-time performance index of 90.75%. It collects and processes real-time information about flights, airlines, and airports from more than 2,000 sources, including airlines, airports, global distribution systems, and civil aviation authorities. The report indicates that Tocumen registered a 93.34% on-time departure rate, the highest indicator among the airports evaluated in this category. For arrivals, Tocumen reached a punctuality rate of 89.94%. The report evaluated a total of 148,065 flights operated from the Panamanian airport, with 99.49% of flights monitored. Its punctuality and performance rankings are used as a reference by the aviation sector worldwide.
