The Panamanian government will incorporate the 'Made in Panama' seal into the official stationery of public entities, following a proposal presented at the Council of Cabinet by the Minister of Commerce and Industry, Julio Moltó.
The initiative aims for this distinctive seal, which identifies manufactured and created products in the country, to be used daily in official documents as part of a strategy to increase its visibility and recognition at the national level.
According to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, using the seal on institutional stationery seeks to reinforce its positioning as a public policy backed by the State, in addition to contributing to the promotion of national products and supporting producers, entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized enterprises, and industries that use this identification.
The 'Made in Panama' seal was relaunched in 2025 through a national contest.
Its incorporation into government stationery represents a new step within that process, extending its exposure beyond commercial products and bringing it into the institutional sphere.
According to the proposal presented, this measure will allow official documents to function as a permanent channel for disseminating the seal, under a unified image with both national and international reach.
The proposal is part of the Executive's actions aimed at strengthening the identity of Panamanian products and consolidating the seal as a reference of origin in the local market.
