People with winning tickets had to travel to San Miguelito or Río Abajo to be able to claim their prize. This was all after the previous administration ordered the closure of this key point for the community. Ticket sellers and buyers agree that the closure complicated their daily lives.

After three years with the doors closed, this Thursday, January 22nd, movement returned to the branch of the National Charity Lottery in Los Pueblos. The current administration re-enabled prize payments, news that was a relief among customers and ticket sellers in the area.

Throughout this time, complaints were constant. More expenses, more lost time, and long lines far away. The National Charity Lottery reminded that the regular exchange hours are maintained, and that on drawing days, the hours are extended until 4:30 in the afternoon, to facilitate the process for those who arrive after noon.
