We inform you that due to the bad weather registered since last Sunday, February 1st, which has caused trees and branches to fall on power lines, multiple outages have been reported throughout our concession area. According to information released by the Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology of Panama, these weather conditions are associated with the recent passage of a cold front over the Caribbean Sea, whose effects have impacted various regions of Panama, causing gusts of wind and rough seas. In light of this situation, we have activated a special operation and deployed in the field: – 153 brigades – With more than 500 technicians. Our staff continues to work continuously to address the reported incidents and restore the service safely and progressively. The areas with the highest incidence are mainly concentrated in West Panama, Central Provinces, Azuero, and Chiriquí. We thank our customers for their understanding under these external conditions and reiterate our commitment to continue working to normalize the electricity supply as soon as possible, always prioritizing the safety of people and our technical staff.
