President Giulia De Sanctis stated that betting on sustainability is not a luxury but a necessity, especially as companies seek to become more resilient to changes in the energy market. The system was installed by La Casa de las Baterías, which explained that the generated energy can be fed into the electrical grid. This allows for a significant reduction in consumption, and in some cases, can almost eliminate the bill, excluding basic charges. In addition to savings, the project has an environmental impact. It is estimated to be equivalent to taking about 18 cars off the road and reducing more than 50 tons of carbon emissions per year, reinforcing the country's commitment to clean energy. APEDE also sent a message to the business sector to look towards renewable energy. The association requested that procedures and permits continue to be improved so that more projects like this can advance with fewer obstacles.
