The Cabinet Council approved an additional supplemental credit to the General State Budget for the fiscal year 2024 totaling 10 million 19 thousand 424 balboas. This funding is intended for payment to health workers nationwide, specifically for 1,794 employees.

According to reports, this allocation will benefit the Ministry of Health and directly assist temporary sector workers. The employees, upon learning of the news, expressed their gratitude and satisfaction with this measure. In the words of one of the beneficiaries: "This payment means a lot to us; it is a recognition of our effort and dedication amidst this pandemic."

The approval of this additional credit aims to recognize the hard work of health personnel at a crucial time when their work has been vital in addressing the current health situation.
