
The government of Panama approved the allocation of a sum of 10 million 19 thousand 424 balboas to the Ministry of Health (Minsa) for the payment of salaries to temporary workers in the healthcare sector.
This decision was made at a meeting of the cabinet of ministers. According to the statement, the allocated funds will be used to pay the salaries of healthcare workers who are involved in various temporary projects and programs of the Ministry of Health.
"This step testifies to the government's concern for its citizens and the importance of supporting our healthcare workers, especially during the pandemic," noted a representative of the Ministry of Health.
The government expressed hope that these resources will help ensure stability and additional motivation for healthcare workers, who make a significant contribution to the fight against COVID-19 in the country.
