More than 140 students from various fields are interning at the Ministry of Government of Panama, seeking to complete their studies and gain professional experience.


Students Interning at the Ministry of Government

More than 140 students from different academic levels are currently doing their respective internships at the Ministry of Government (Mingob). According to the Institutional Human Resources Office of the entity, 130 future professionals from various fields such as psychology, nutrition, criminology, administrative law, public administration, social work, education, International Relations, integrative psychology, networks and computing, human resources, events and protocol, among other disciplines, are involved.

Among the students, the diversity of careers represented in these internships stands out, reflecting the importance of providing training opportunities in a real work environment. These internships not only allow students to apply their theoretical knowledge in practical situations but also provide them with the opportunity to acquire experience and skills that will be fundamental for their professional development.

In this regard, one of the students doing an internship expressed: "This opportunity at Mingob is invaluable for my training as a future professional in psychology. It has allowed me to closely understand the functioning of a governmental institution and apply my knowledge in real situations, which significantly complements my learning."

In this sense, the participation of students in internships at Mingob is an example of collaboration between academia and the public sector to promote the comprehensive training of future professionals and contribute to strengthening capabilities in different areas of knowledge.
