The Ministry of Public Security carried out an activity this Saturday in the community of Río Luis, in the northern province of Veraguas, as part of its social plans and prevention programs. During the event, the children living in remote areas of the country were the main protagonists, enjoying moments filled with joy, games, sweets, and gifts in an atmosphere of healthy coexistence and peace.
Minister Frank Abrego, accompanied by his wife Mrs. Angela Chávez de Abrego, highlighted the importance of strengthening values, principles, and respect from an early age. He emphasized that instilling these aspects from the foundations is essential to forming young people with a solid moral and emotional platform, with clear goals that ensure they become good individuals for themselves, their families, and society.
"EDUCATE THE CHILD AND YOU WILL NOT PUNISH THE MAN," asserted Minister Abrego during the activity, stressing the relevance of education and early training in building a more just and equitable society. This initiative seeks to convey hope and joy to the children of Veraguas, providing a space for fun and learning where they can feel valued and be an active part of their community.
