The Mayor of the city, Mayer Mizrachi, announced the launch of the Carnival Festival at Cinta Costera, which will take place from February 28 to March 4. During this event, there will be water fights and stages in a celebration that promises to be unforgettable.

In a statement, Mizrachi highlighted the importance of involving private companies in the organization of such festivities, noting that collaboration between the private sector, security agencies, and the entertainment industry is essential for carrying out quality events. Additionally, he emphasized that the carnivals would be free for the people, stating that the cost of the celebrations would be borne by private companies.

Regarding the organization of the event, it was reported that the festivities will start at 9:00 AM with the traditional water fights, while nighttime entertainment will run from 6:00 PM to 4:00 AM. For his part, Commissioner Edgardo Nuñez detailed that there will be around 8,000 security units throughout the perimeter, with five exit points enabled and strategically located checkpoints.

Moreover, a list of prohibited items during the event was released, which includes glass containers, perfumes, fireworks, among other items. The goal is to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all attendees.
