During Carnival on the Cinta Costera, the Urban and Household Cleaning Authority (AAUD) has collected nearly five tons of garbage daily. In addition to the Cinta Costera, the AAUD has deployed a team of 20 people in Juan Díaz to carry out cleaning tasks after the culecos activity.

The AAUD reported that, despite the festivities, it has remained vigilant to keep the areas clean and collect the waste generated by visitors and residents. This deployment has allowed for the efficient management of waste during one of the busiest events in the country.

In the words of a representative of the AAUD: "Our main objective is to ensure the cleanliness of public spaces and provide citizens with a pleasant and safe environment during Carnival celebrations." The efforts made have significantly contributed to keeping the Cinta Costera and other areas free of trash, allowing both locals and tourists to enjoy the festivities in a clean and orderly environment.
