On March 16 at 9:00 am, at La Compañía de Jesús in the Old Town, the presentation of "Guardians of the Forest" will take place, a visual experience that celebrates indigenous heritage.
The exhibit aims to honor and highlight the deep connection between the indigenous communities of Panama and the nature that surrounds them. Photographs and works of art illustrating the unique and spiritual relationship these cultures have with the forest and its environment will be displayed.
According to the event organizer, this exhibition is an opportunity to raise awareness among the population about the importance of protecting not only the cultural heritage of these communities but also the natural resources that are vital for their survival.
The exhibition will be open to the general public and is expected to be an enriching and revealing experience for all visitors interested in learning about and valuing the cultural wealth of Panamanian indigenous communities.
